BORN:
1955, Viareggio (Italy)

EDUCATION: 1978, Degree 'Dottore in Fisica', Pisa (Italy)

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:
  • Vibrational properties of extended systems
  • Electronic, structural, and dynamical properties of metal surfaces
  • Thermal properties of extended systems, studied within the
    quasi-harmonic approximation
